   WHO AM I

My name is Eve Crawford and I'm 15 years old and currently go to Castle View High School. I've created this blog to document my adventures in Colorado and try to get any viewers on board with the whole Colorado-ooutdoorsy thing. I like doing anything out doors- like a typical Coloradian. But by far my favorite thing to do is swim. at any given point in the year I'm participating on 2 swim teams, you could say wimming's my life

I have 3 siblings- Ty, shane, and Grace-all younger, my parents, and a blnd dog living at home with me. about 7 years ago, we all moved here from Crange County, California, and I strongly prefer this over any other state.

What Colorado Means to Me

Coming from California, I can truly  appreciate Colorado and all of it’s amazing features such as the mountains and all of the nature around us, even at home. In California you saw the occasional squirrel, but here, I can look out the back window at any given time and see any animal you can think of; birds, coyotes, deer, etc.

Adapting to the environment is a very easy thing to do. Everyone here is so friendly and welcoming. And I think that’s a huge part of our culture- that we strive to make everyone welcome and and a ‘family’ in a way.

To me Colorado is home. I can’t think of any other place that I would want to live or that I can even think of calling home- just Colorado. When people tell me that they hate it here, I just cringe because who could’t love Colorado?!? Colorado is an amazing place where you can find anything to do any day, any where in the state. You can do anything you can think of here- other than surf.
